How the search works
Quick Search will search the following fields for the keyword(s) you enter:
Learning Aim Reference, Learning Aim Title, Awarding Body Code, Awarding Body Name, Awarding Body Reference (the code an awarding body gives an aim, if known).
Keywords can include numbers (such as aim references). An aim will be returned only if
all
of the keyword(s) entered are found in these fields.
To search for complete phrases, enclose the keywords in double quotes "like this".
To improve the performance of the Quick Search, the following common/small words have been excluded from the search: ("in", "is", "and", "or", "the", "of", "a", "to", "as"). If one of these words is essential to your search, you can include it within a phrase.
Wildcards may be used when searching with phrases, you can use "*" or "%" for multiple characters and "?" or "_" for single characters. You do not have to use wildcards with individual key words - they are added automatically.
